A six-foot diameter (183 cm) stained-glass rose window to enhance the worship space for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. Inspired by the church's stone exterior and traditional Gothic tracery, this design conveys an image of the Holy Trinity in a trefoil-shaped swirl of thin rays of light. The Three-in-One imagery arose from Biblical descriptions of arrows of light in Habakkuk, with a sky-filled light show illumining the dark depths of the sea in Job. The congregation embraced this imagery as both cosmic and embryonic. God, the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things, whose ongoing acts of grace continue to unfold in our lives.
